Zetwerk Electronics, the electronics manufacturing arm of the $2.1 billion Zetwerk Manufacturing Businesses, has announced the opening of its latest manufacturing facility in Bengaluru. The facility was inaugurated on Wednesday and is all set to create over 2,000 new jobs, marking a significant expansion in the company’s electronics manufacturing footprint in India.
This new Bengaluru facility—Zetwerk’s eighth in the country will focus on catering to high-growth sectors within the Electronic System Design and Manufacturing (ESDM) ecosystem, including industrials, telecom, automotive, consumer durables, and strategic electronics.
Josh Foulger, President of Zetwerk Electronics, emphasised the strategic importance of the expansion, stating, “This new investment strengthens our ambition to serve high-growth sectors with world-class manufacturing solutions from India.”
The facility’s launch comes just three months after Zetwerk inaugurated its largest electronics manufacturing unit near Chennai, part of a ₹1,000 crore investment plan aimed at enhancing its national manufacturing capabilities. In addition to Bengaluru and Chennai, the company also operates facilities in Noida and Gurugram, strengthening its nationwide presence.

According to the company, Bengaluru’s dynamic industrial environment, abundant talent pool, and strategic connectivity make it an ideal location for scaling advanced manufacturing operations.
Zetwerk is also ramping up its manufacturing scale, with current operations aimed at producing up to two electronic devices per second across its Indian facilities.
