January 2025, Rochester, New York (USA)
China Machine Tool & Tool Builders’ Association (CMTBA) organizes the 19 th CIMT
China International Machine Tool Show with focus on metal cutting and
manufacturing technologies from April 21 to 26, 2025 at the China International
Exhibition Center in Beijing.
At the Gleason booth B3-031 in Hall B3 visitors will experience several highlights
live in action: KISSsoft ® Release 2025 with a new KISSsoft System Module, 100PS
Power Skiving Machine for robotic parts, Genesis ® 280HCD Gear Hobbing Machine
with integrated chamfer cutting for highly productive environments, 300GMS nano
Gear Metrology System for submicron gear inspection and integrated gear noise
analysis, Coniflex ® Pro Design and Manufacturing System for straight bevel and
differential gears, and much more.
KISSsoft Release 2025 presents the new KISSsoft System Module, accelerating the
calculation of complex drive trains. Features like a new development environment in
SKRIPT, additional strength calculations for cylindrical gears, latest bevel gear standards
ISO 10300 and DIN 3965, powerful 3D FEM calculation for tooth root stresses, and much
more, will improve the workflow and greatly elevate productivity.
The Genesis 280HCD Gear Hobbing Machine seamlessly integrates Chamfer Cutting
for defined and precise chamfers, executed in parallel to the gear hobbing process. The
280HCD features Chamfer Hobbing and Fly Cutter Chamfering to adapt to high-
production environments or to the efficient cutting and chamfering of small or medium
batch sizes.
The universal 100PS Power Skiving Machine for cutting of internal and external gears
can be equipped with many optional functions like the simple change to a hobbing
machine within a few minutes. The 100PS is a great solution to manufacture robotic and
similar size gears with Power Skiving or hobbing and will be accompanied by a robotic
display to show its end user application.
The 300GMS nano Gear Metrology System features measurement of gear surface
finish at submicron level with a skidless probe, analysis of waviness in profile and lead,
and evaluation of gear noise with sophisticated software tools, such as Advanced
Waviness Analysis and KTEPS.
Advanced Waviness Analysis allows for the fast and accurate analysis of measured
gears with contact and non-contact inspection, correlating to end-of-line testing. KTEPS
Kinematic Transmission Error Prediction Software is a revolutionary method of finding
contributing tooth flank deviations relative to noise orders for in-depth gear noise
evaluation.
Gleason’s new Coniflex Pro Design and Manufacturing System produces stronger,
quieter, and more reliable straight bevel gears, ideally suited for e-drive differential gears
in high volumes, for automotive, truck, bus and off-highway transmissions.
Gleason will showcase a wide array of tools for cylindrical and bevel gears alike,
including hobs, shaper cutters, Power Skiving tools, shaving cutters, grinding and honing
tools, as well as different bevel gear cutting and grinding systems. Gleason latest
dressing tools for gear grinding and honing applications provide constant, excellent
quality results and great productivity.
Last but not least, Gleason presents the latest developments in hydraulic and
mechanical workholding, including new quick-change interfaces and inspection
workholding for gear and non-gear applications. Users will be able to touch and test
available workholding live at the Gleason booth.
See you at CIMT 2025!
