Zoller, a global leader in precision tool measuring, inspection, balancing, heat-shrinking, automation, and tool management solutions, celebrated its 80th anniversary with a VIP Technology Tour at its global headquarters in Pleidelsheim, Germany. The exclusive, invitation-only event brought together a select group of industry leaders from North America to honor eight decades of technological innovation and excellence in manufacturing.
Held from July 14 to July 18, the five-day tour offered an immersive experience focused on Zoller’s evolution and the advancement of its smart manufacturing Solutions. Attendees explored the company’s Smart Factory and global production facility, engaging directly with Zoller experts and OEM partners to gain insights into the latest developments in efficiency-driven production technologies.
Beyond technical demonstrations, the agenda included expert-led roundtable discussions and networking sessions. These events fostered dialogue among forward-thinking manufacturing leaders and provided a platform for sharing ideas, challenges, and solutions. The program also highlighted the broader innovation ecosystem of Baden-Württemberg, a region known for its
concentration of precision engineering firms and global OEMs.
A major highlight of the tour was the direct engagement with Zoller’s OEM partners, including SW, Grob, Hermle, Schunk, and Index Traub. The group also visited Körber, a Hamburg-based international technology group, where attendees witnessed the full roadmap of Zoller Solutions in action, including the »coraMeasureLG« system for toolroom automation.
“The VIP Technology Tour was not just about demonstrating Solutions—it was about creating a think tank,” shared Rita Conroy-Martin, Director of Marketing & CX at Zoller Inc. “This week allowed our customers to collaborate, share ideas, and engage directly with the people and technologies driving the next phase of manufacturing. It was customer experience at its highest level.”
Guests had the opportunity to explore the cultural richness of southern Germany, including visits to historic sites, vineyards, and iconic automotive museums. The setting combined history, innovation, and hospitality—qualities that mirror Zoller’s heritage and its long-standing commitment to excellence.
“This tour was a powerful opportunity to bring our vision to life,” said Mr. Alexander Zoller, President of Zoller Inc. “We’ve always believed in empowering manufacturers to be as efficient as possible. To host industry leaders and show them what is achievable with ZOLLER Solutions was both a celebration of our past and a glimpse into our future.
Looking ahead, the company will present its latest technologies at EMO 2025, where visitors can explore the full suite of Zoller Solutions. Zoller is preparing to host its next VIP Technology Tour in Spring 2026, offering invited guests an exclusive experience at its global headquarters.
