ZF has been awarded the Atmanirbhar Award at the Tata Motors Annual Supplier Meet 2026, held on September 11 in Pune, recognising the company’s successful localisation of its e-Comp electric air compressor for electric and hybrid commercial vehicle applications.
The award highlights ZF’s contribution to advancing localised technology solutions for the commercial vehicle sector. The e-Comp is designed to support electric and hybrid commercial vehicles, where efficient auxiliary systems play an important role in vehicle performance and electrification.
ZF said the recognition reflects its continued focus on innovation, localisation and sustainable mobility. The company also acknowledged Tata Motors for the recognition and its teams for their contribution to the localisation initiative.
