Bonfiglioli Technology Space has received the Platinum Award in the category of “Best Company for Excellence in R&D – Industrial Engineering & Automation” at the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) Global Summit on Industrial R&D & Competitiveness 2026.
The Platinum Award represents the highest level of recognition in the category. The achievement comes amid participation from more than 250 organisations, with the recognition covering several aspects of research and development, including innovation, talent development, intellectual property creation, commercial impact and future technology roadmaps.
Under the leadership of Mr Santosh Godi, Bonfiglioli Technology Space continues to develop its role as a Global Capability Centre (GCC) and technology hub in India. Its focus includes advancing engineering capabilities, developing next-generation technologies and supporting business objectives across global operations.
Ashish Ranjan Behera, Sai Prabhu Lokesh Udayasekar, Karthik Panneerselvam and Krishna Prabu P received the award on behalf of the organisation.
The recognition highlights Bonfiglioli Technology Space’s research and engineering capabilities, as well as its efforts to strengthen innovation and technology development in India.
