February 2025 – Bangalore, India – Bharat Forge Ltd. and Liebherr-Aerospace & Transportation SAS have announced a landmark collaboration to establish a cutting-edge manufacturing facility in India. This initiative aims to support the growing global aerospace industry by incorporating state-of-the-art technologies such as a ring mill, advanced machining for landing gear components, and raw material processing.
This partnership was officially declared during Aero India 2025, where Guru Biswal, Aerospace CEO, Bharat Forge Ltd., and Alex Vlielander, Chief Customer Officer, Liebherr-Aerospace & Transportation SAS, along with representatives from both companies, participated in the signing ceremony.
As part of this strategic initiative, Bharat Forge will develop a new manufacturing facility at its headquarters in Pune, India, with operations expected to start in 2025. The facility will be equipped with an advanced ring mill and sophisticated machining technologies to produce high-precision components, particularly for landing gear applications.
