Ashok Leyland Wins Defence Orders Worth Over ₹700 Crore, Strengthens Military Mobility

Ashok Leyland, the principal company of the Hinduja Group and the largest supplier of logistics vehicles to the Indian Army, has announced a significant milestone for its Defence business. The company has secured multiple orders valued at over Rs. 700 crore to supply advanced mobility solutions for the armed forces.

The newly acquired contracts cover a wide range of specialised vehicles designed to enhance operational efficiency in challenging terrains. Among these are the Stallion 4×4, Stallion 6×6, Short Chassis Bus, and Mobility System Travelling Platform, all of which are integral to troop transportation, logistics, and the Close-in Weapon Systems (CIWS) program. These vehicles, known for their reliability and superior off-road capability, will bolster the Defence sector’s mobility and support infrastructure.
