Hero MotoCorp has entered a new phase of expansion in El Salvador through a strategic partnership with VELOSA (Oriental Motors, S.A.), strengthening its retail, service and genuine-parts network in the Central American market.
As part of the partnership, VELOSA has inaugurated a new Hero MotoCorp flagship store on Calle El Progreso and opened two additional outlets at Metrocentro San Salvador and Plaza Mundo Soyapango. The company has also begun partnerships with dealers across the country, taking Hero MotoCorp’s authorised dealer network in El Salvador to more than 30 outlets.
Hero MotoCorp has been present in El Salvador for 13 years and has served nearly 50,000 customers in the country. Models such as the Hunk and Xpulse have played an important role in building the company’s presence in the market.
“El Salvador is a strategic market for Hero MotoCorp in Central America,” said Sanjay Bhan, Executive Vice President – Global Business, Global Product Planning and Global Market Insights, Hero MotoCorp.
Carlos Landaverde, Commercial Manager, VELOSA, said the company plans to build on the trust Hero MotoCorp has established in the country by strengthening customer service, support and accessibility.
Integrated sales, aftersales and genuine-parts services are currently available at the Calle El Progreso flagship store, Hero Merliot and Santa Ana. The new Metrocentro San Salvador and Plaza Mundo Soyapango outlets will focus primarily on motorcycle sales.
As part of its customer support offering, Hero MotoCorp will provide a five-year or 60,000-km warranty across its portfolio available in El Salvador. Customers will also receive four free check-ups.
The expansion is expected to strengthen Hero MotoCorp’s reach across El Salvador while improving access to sales, servicing and genuine spare parts. With more than 30 authorised dealers now operating in the country, the company is looking to deepen its presence and build closer connections with customers across the Central American market.
