Jeh Aerospace Signs Multi-Million-Dollar Deal with Solestra, Launches Hyderabad Manufacturing Hub

Hyderabad, India: Aerospace manufacturing company Jeh Aerospace has signed a multi-year, multi-million-dollar agreement with U.S.-based Solestra Group and inaugurated a dedicated Global Manufacturing Centre (GMC) at its Hyderabad facility to support aero-engine and aircraft systems applications.

The newly established manufacturing centre will function as an extension of Solestra’s North American operations, with dedicated machinery, floor space, and workforce assigned exclusively to Solestra programmes. Under the arrangement, Solestra will remain the single accountable interface for its customers while leveraging Jeh Aerospace’s manufacturing capabilities in India.

According to the companies, the partnership is designed to expand production capacity, accelerate new product introductions and industrialisation, reduce costs, and maintain digital-thread transparency while safeguarding intellectual property.

The agreement was formalised during a visit by Solestra Chief Executive Officer Joe DeMartino and Vice President & General Manager Rocky Barnhart, who attended the signing ceremony and inauguration of the facility in Hyderabad.

Commenting on the collaboration, DeMartino said the partnership would enable Solestra to support larger and more complex aerospace programmes while allowing its North American facilities to focus on advanced manufacturing, assembly operations, and customer engagement.

Jeh Aerospace Co-founder Vishal Sanghavi noted that the model was developed to strengthen supply-chain resilience and move beyond traditional outsourcing relationships. He explained that the concept emerged from the founders’ two decades of experience establishing and managing India-based joint ventures for major aerospace manufacturers.

The companies described the Global Manufacturing Centre model as offering many of the benefits associated with a joint venture, while avoiding the governance, ownership, and exit complexities typically involved in such arrangements.

The Solestra GMC further expands Jeh Aerospace’s capabilities in high-precision mechanical systems, complementing its existing work in aero-engines and aerostructures. Solestra serves the aerospace, defence, medical, and other high-precision industries through six specialised businesses across North America.

Jeh Aerospace, headquartered in both the United States and Hyderabad, manufactures aerospace and defence components, tooling, and assemblies using software-defined production technologies. The new facility is expected to strengthen collaboration between the two companies while enhancing global aerospace manufacturing capacity.
