We need to teach models physics and create a new world model," he explained, drawing parallels to the autonomous vehicle industry, where AI must continuously adapt to unpredictable environments. AI for Sustainability and Cost Efficiency Dhupar also highlighted AI’s role in optimizing manufacturing for sustainability. By enhancing efficiency, AI can reduce energy consumption and CO₂ emissions, potentially cutting carbon output equivalent to removing 20 million cars from the road. He further emphasized the transformative impact of NVIDIA’s ‘Transformer Engine’, which is reshaping AI’s capabilities. While initial costs for AI adoption were high, falling prices are making AI more accessible to manufacturers of all sizes.
